Persona Profile: Zh'kian

Writer: Steel

Name: Zh'kian
Pronunciation: Zeh-key-an
Age: 35
Birthday: m2 d14
Rank: Wingrider, Alpine Wing
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr

Physical Description of Persona:
Zh'kian is tall and leggy, with spare features and a lean build that gives him a willowy, elegant look. He has fair skin that's more liable to burn than tan if exposed to the sun for long lengths of time. Zh'kian has vibrant hazel-green eyes, as well as platinum-blond hair that he keeps just barely at regulation length. There's a line of Threadscore on the left side of his face, tracing from just past his brow to a small notch on his left ear at an angle, barely missing his left eye. He tends to let his hair fall forward enough to obscure at least part of the scarring.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Energetic and dramatic are two good ways to describe Zh'kian, almost always in motion and fidgeting with something or other. He can be prone to distraction, and dislikes the idea of being placed in charge of important things when he would rather have fun.

When he _does_ focus, however, he's willing to put in the effort to see whatever task he's picked or been given completed, and done well. He doesn't have the best attention span, but he knows that and has learned to work past it. Mostly.

He attaches to others quickly and deeply, making friends easily and thriving in company, though he's never yet fallen for anyone deeply enough to consider settling down with anyone.

History of Persona:
Zh'kian was born Zhankian, the youngest son to a minor Holder allegiant to Thayan Peak Weyrhold. Even as a child he was a bit of an odd one out, too unfocused, too impulsive, and when the dragons’ clutch sizes began to become much larger, Zhankian was willingly Searched.

Impressing Mizoeth at fourteen Turns pointed Zh’kian’s energy in a specific direction, and he took to dragonriding with a little bit of difficulty at the structure at first, before finding a balance and bouncing back.

Thayan Peak's destruction led to Zh'kian fleeing to Dragonsfall, and it was there they chose to settle, after a brief stint at another Weyr led to them returning after only a few months. Dragonsfall is where they've been settled since.

Dragon's Name: Mizoeth
Dragon's Age: 21
Dragon's Hatching Date: m3 d14
Dragon's Colour: Green
Description of Dragon:
Mizoeth is _big_ for a green, very close to rivalling the smallest blues. She's built neither slender or dainty, a green built blocky and powerful rather than speedy. Her hide is a matte medium green with very little variation, save on her front feet and ripples on the very edges of her wings which are a lighter jade green.

Mizoeth is an energetic green, fast in the air and in her decisions, often leaping straight to conclusions from a proverbial standing point. She has a soft spot for flits and Candidates alike, though she's just as likely half the time to become pushy or decide she knows what's best.
