Physical Description of Persona:
Evisaya is just about as ordinary as they come. He is of middling height and strong but not bulky of build. He has dark brown hair, brown eyes, and light brown skin. He very carefully trims his scruff to avoid showing any patchiness in his beard, and he spends more time than most meticulously keeping his nails clean, trimmed, filed, and buffed. He has a smooth baritone voice and a cheerful smile.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Evisaya has spent a good deal of his life fading into the background. He did his work right the first time, never overexerting himself nor shirking. He gravitated toward the back of the line when it was chow time and was never first nor last to turn in for bed, neither first nor last to volunteer for work. He always considered himself least important, because no one ever treated him any differently. But the moment that Search dragon picked him over all the others, it lit a spark in him. From that day on, he decided never to be wishy-washy again, because he _was_ important, and he was going to show everyone that he could be the first and the best after all.

History of Persona:
Evisaya was born and raised at Hayarall's homestead, a collection of small cotholds belonging to him and his family. Closest to Dragonsfall Weyr, it was once part of the former Weyrhold's territory. However, they are technically now under Opal Cove's purview.

He was the second son of Hayarall's youngest brother, and very little was ever expected of him aside from a decent work ethic. He helped keep the herds, and for the most part, he kept his head down. Nothing exciting ever happened at Hayarall's homestead.

Until one day, his Uncle Hayarall decided to take in a family of strays. They claimed to be traders or something to the effect, but Evisaya always suspected they were really Holdless. Still, if Hayarall knew, he never said anything. They worked for their room and board, and over time, Hayarall started treating them like family.

But then, they finally showed their true colors. Hayarall only just barely stopped them before they stole half the herd. The guards from Opal Hold had never seen the man, whom Hayarall killed in the struggle, and they did not recognize they name he had given. They quickly ruled the killing to be justified self-defense and burned the body. The woman and the boy had escaped.

Evisaya never expected to see them again, but one day, the boy returned as a _dragonrider_ of all things and bought his forgiveness from Hayarall and his wife Liazi with a gold firelizard egg. Evisaya was not impressed, especially when he heard he had presumptuously named himself after them, as though he were their child.

When the Searchrider arrived some months later, they assumed it was him again. But it was someone else entirely. Shocking everyone, the dragon chose Evisaya to go to the Weyr. And everyone was further shocked when he actually accepted the invitation.
